Last week we talked Brand Reevaluation and making sure our brand logos, colors and fonts match our brand vibe. My favorite way to do this is to create a mood board.
Brand styling is putting together brand color palettes, fonts, graphics and other brand visuals that represent your business to its core. The first step in a brand makeover is establishing the brand vibe or soul; we do this by creating a mood board. For my clients this means we start with Pinterest Homework. We create a brand board and pin images colors and quotes that inspire the brand and give off the vibes that attract your ideal client. Once we have a full board I take the images and create a mood board based of reoccurring themes and colors.
Having a color palette and mood board helps you establish consistency throughout your brand so that as you continue to build you have a reference to keep everything aligned.
